Kayman Beauty Skintella Repairing Serum Review

18:44

I'm so thrilled to write a review about this new serum I've been trying for about a month now because I've been eyeing this serum for such a long time before I finished the serum I'm currently using at that time. It's called Kayman Skintella Repairing Serum

Their main ingredient is Centella Asiatica which is super duper good as antioxidant properties to your skin. This is why it is named Skintella (Skin + Centella). I saw tons of nice feedbacks on Twitter which makes me eager to try this serum since I need to get rid of the redness on my face haha.

Anyway, Kayman Beauty is a trusted local skincare brand from Malaysia as they never had any senseless claims on all of their products. Please noted that this is not a sponsored post as I bought this serum with my own money and it is because I trust this local brand that makes me wanna try out their standout products.

What Does It Claim?

Kayman Skintella Repairing Serum is a concentrated premium serum with Centella Asiatica as the star ingredient. This serum aims to repair and strengthen the skin from within. It also helps to restore skin elasticity while soothing sensitivity and remedying irritation.

Kayman Skintella Repairing Serum is suitable for all skin types.

Spotlight Ingredients

There are some ingredients in Kayman Skintella Repairing Serum that steals the spotlight because of their specific benefits to the skin. That includes:

  • Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract - A well-known anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant to improve small wounds, scratches, or burns. It also has been used as traditional medicine for hundreds of years.
  • Glycerin - Type of famous moisturizing agents that could be found in almost all moisturizer products in the market. It helps to trap and store the moisture deep into your skin.
  • Arbutin - Best ingredient to stop any extra production of melanin and it is good for brightening. In other words, this serum is good for those who have dull skin.

Direction of Use

After cleansing and toning, massage 1-2 pumps of Kayman Skintella Repairing Serum onto the skin. Gently pat for maximum absorption. Skintella can be used on the whole face and neck or applied only to affected/desired areas. For best results, use twice daily in the morning and night to achieve smooth, bright, and radiant skin.

The Packaging and Price

Kayman Skintella Repairing Serum comes in a full-size bottle of 30ml. They also have the travel size (15ml) bottle but I only bought the full-size for my first use. Here are the prices for each size:

  • 30ml - RM69
  • 15ml - RM45
The bottle is made from matte glass and it is quite heavy for a normal 30ml serum. It might break your toes if you'd slipped it on your feet. It is not a cylinder bottle shape like many other ordinary skincare products but it is SQUARE or more like a rectangular-shaped bottle that has a sharp edge at every corner of the bottle. It would be a mess if you are a clumsy person.

I'm not a clumsy person so I'm okay with it.

But what I like more about their packaging design is the color of the glass bottle looks so exclusive which is all-black but you can still see-through the bottle if you put it in front of any direct sunlight for you to check how many are left after some usage. And it is also a pump-bottle so you don't need to worry about hygiene.

The Texture

Kayman Skintella Repairing Serum does not offer the watery texture that can absorb pretty fast into the skin which I really like as I have quite oily skin but the texture is still bearable on my skin. It is like a gel texture but not too sticky or tacky for those who have oily skin like me. You can apply a very thin layer of it if you are on your first try.

When I apply the serum to my skin, I love the soothing and calm effect it had to offer which is very nice to my skin.

My Personal Thoughts on Skintella

I'm surprised that Kayman Skintella Repairing Serum is free from alcohol, paraben, fragrance (no scent), sulfate, silicone, and also EU Allergen which makes it suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. The main ingredient in this serum which Centella Asiatica is good for wound healing on my skin. It treats my after-post acne and reduces redness pretty well.

Every time I had a huge pimple which kinda painful to even pinch because it is too deep in the skin, I would apply Skintella on that focused area a bit extra because it works for spot treatment too. The next day, the acne would dramatically leave no scarring.

I don't know how to describe it but this serum works wonder to TREAT YOUR SKIN.

But I guess this serum is not safe for those who have fungal acne as they have already mentioned it on their website. If you are not sure whether it is fungal acne or not, you can try to consult with your doctor before you try out this serum first.

I also think that people with dry skin would loveee this serum because it does provide great moisture for my skin especially when I wake up with glowy skin in the morning as I often applied it on my skin every night before I go to bed. I have some dry patches on my cheeks too and this Kayman Skintella Repairing Serum really helps to moisturize that area.

In conclusion, if you are looking for any serum that helps to soothe, repair your skin from within, reduce irritation, Kayman Skintella Repairing Serum is worth trying! You can purchase Skintella from Shopee or Lazada.

[Don't forget to check the ingredients if you have any allergies that might trigger your skin.]
